Meet the 21 golfers on the Annika Award final fall watch list for 2023-24

The fall season in college golf is winding to a close, which means it’s time to recognize players who set themselves apart as frontrunners in women’s college golf over the past two and a half months.

The Annika Award presented by Stifel honors the player of the year in women’s college golf, as selected by college golfers, coaches and members of the college golf media. The players are listed alphabetically. Players on the Haskins Award Watch List were selected by a panel of Golfweek and Golf Channel reporters.

Here’s a look at the 21 players on the Annika Award final fall watch list.

Phoebe Brinker, Duke

Brinker shared medalist honors at the Annika Intercollegiate while tying for fifth at the Landfall Tradition.

Christy Chen, Boston University

All she can do is win. Boston’s Christy Chen has won three times this fall, coming at the Bucknell Invitational, Princeton Invitational and the Yale Invitational.

Catie Craig, Western Kentucky

Craig won the Jennifer Duke, placed second at the Lady Paladin Invitational, third at the Southern and fourth at the Pat Bradley.

Maisie Filler, Florida

Filler picked up two wins, coming at the Ally and the Tar Heel Invitational. She also placed T-2 at the Glass City Invitational.

Megha Ganne, Stanford

Ganne won the Carmel Cup and placed T-2 at the East Lake Cup. She also has another top-15 finish.

Maria Jose Marin, Arkansas

The talented freshman won the Blessings Collegiate and finished runner-up at the Carmel Cup.

Rachel Kuehn, Wake Forest

The four-time All-American tied for third at the Schooner Classic, finished T-6 at the East Lake Cup and T-10 at the Stephens Cup.

Ingrid Lindblad, LSU

Lindblad has two wins this fall, coming at the Cougar Classic and the Illini Women’s Invitational. Her other finish? T-5 at the Mason Rudolph.

Carolina Lopez Chacarra, Wake Forest

Lopez-Chacarra has a pair of third-place finishes at the Schooner Classic and the Stephens Cup. Also placed ninth at the East Lake Cup.

Julia Lopez Ramirez, Mississippi State

Lopez Ramirez finished third at the Carmel Cup and placed second at the Blessings Collegiate, which she won last year.

Caitlyn Macnab, Ole Miss

Macnab has been a stellar addition to the Ole Miss lineup, winning the Mason Rudolph and having three other top-seven finishes.

Paula Martin Sampedro, Stanford

The next stellar freshman for Stanford, Martin Sampedro tied for fourth at the Stephens Cup and hasn’t finished worse than T-7 this fall.

Anna Morgan, Furman

Furman has won twice this fall, coming at the Landfall Tradition and the Lady Paladin Invitational, in addition to a T-5 at the Evie Odom.

Lauryn Nguyen, Northwestern

Nguyen won the Windy City Collegiate and tied for fifth at the Stanford Collegiate.

Farah O'Keefe, Texas

Another talented freshman, O’Keefe has a pair of top-five finishes at the Annika Intercollegiate (T-5) and the Windy City Collegiate (T-2).

Catherine Park, USC

Park won the Stanford Intercollegiate, tied for second at the Leadership and Golf Invitational and tied for sixth at the East Lake Cup.

Kiara Romero, Oregon

Yet another talented freshman, Romero shared medalist honors at the Annika Intercollegiate in her first start. She also finished 10th at the Molly Collegiate Invitational.

Louise Rydqvist, South Carolina

Rydqvist also shared medalist honors at the Annika Intercollegiate while tying for fifth at the Mason Rudolph.

Amanda Sambach, Virginia

Sambach won the Glass City Invitational, finished second at the Stanford Intercollegiate and T-9 at the Annika Intercollegiate.

Molly Smith, UCF

Smith, a freshman, won the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate while tying for fifth at the Cougar Classic.

Lottie Woad, Florida State

Woad was the fourth co-medalist at the Annika Intercollegiate. She also tied for third at the Schooner Classic and T-6 at the Tar Heel Invitational.
