Mr. Haskins would be pleased to hear that this year's scholarship recipient was first introduced to the game through her father signing her up to a local girl's golf camp; something Mr. Haskins and our partner Annika Sorenstam are both passionate about.

Jada Richardson is a member of the Howard University Women's Golf Team and grew up in Suwanee, Georgia, with her mother, Annielle, father, Ben, and sister, Kyla. She attended Wesleyan High School where she led the golf team to State all four years during her high school career.

Upon learning of NBA star Stephen Curry's generous donation to start a golf program at Howard University, Jada applied and was ultimately accepted to begin her college career there. Today, she continues to study International Business while diligently working to improve her golf and leadership skills.
