Meet the 25 golfers on the 2026 Haskins Award preseason watch list
The summer months have come and gone, which means it's time for the 2025-26 college golf season.
The best amateurs in the world are going to sport their college gear the next nine months, with all roads leading to Omni La Costa Resort & Spa's North Course, site of the national championship. The best players in college golf are also going to battle for the sport's premier award, the Fred Haskins Award.
Last year, North Carolina's David Ford took home the Haskins Award, capping off a five-win season with Player of the Year honors. He also finished first in PGA Tour University, earning his PGA Tour card. That means a new Player of the Year will be crowned next May, though the No. 1 amateur in the world could win his second Haskins.
The Haskins Award presented by Stifel honors the player of the year in men’s college golf, as selected by college golfers, coaches and members of the college golf media. The players are listed alphabetically. Players on the Haskins Award Watch List were selected by a panel of Golfweek and Golf Channel reporters.
